As agency CM, CPMI managed 7 prime contractors. CPMI provided services for this project beginning with the bidding process
through execution and coordination of the construction documents including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, interior design, landscaping, and other specialty systems needed for the joint fire, EMS and police facility. CPMI provided the Owner with documentation of the construction process as well as monitoring construction quality, budget compliance and adherence to the project schedule, and to manage changes and issues encountered during the construction, ending with completion of the project close-out process which was performed as
scheduled.

Station 19 is a unique station in that it houses not only the fire department and EMS department, but also a portion of the West
Des Moines Police department. This joint occupation is just one of many ways all three West Des Moines public safety departments are sharing resources. The new facility includes sleeping quarters, workout area, shower/locker rooms, 3-bay apparatus space, training rooms, sally port and office space. The building exterior is a combination of precast, brick and metal panels.
