City of Mendota Heights - Mendota Heights Fire Station Remodel and Expansion
The 14,743 sf addition and remodel upgrades for the MHFS provide an up-to-date functioning fire station.
The remodeling project consisted of three areas of building addition, and various remodeling throughout the existing building.
The addition included the north and west of the existing building that contain a new apparatus bay with mezzanine area, training tower, administrative offices, classroom, dayroom, dining, kitchen, dorm rooms, restrooms, laundry and locker room. A smaller addition at the sw corner of the existing building was built and will contain two garage bays for Ambulance Services.
Bids were received from 66 separate contractors on the 21 different bid packages.
