Minnesota Historical Society - Mill City Museum / Stone Arch Offices
This was a major renovation of the historic mill into a public museum and private offices. Work included demolition of existing structural steel and concrete slabs, new roof, floor, and partitions. A stand alone mechanical system was installed with electrical and sprinkler systems which are tied into existing systems in the main museum area.
As Owner’s Representative for predesign, preconstruction and construction, we provided the architectural program in association with MS&R.
We provided a full-time manager on site during construction. Responsibilities included financial reporting, quality control reviews, change order negotiation and attending meetings. CPMI worked for both the Minnesota Historical Society and Brighton Development.
