Minnesota Historical Society - Historic Fort Snelling Long Barracks & Gatehouse

CPMI provided preconstruction services including scheduling, value engineering, plan review and project coordination. Construction services including managing multiple prime contractors, leading progress meetings, submittal processing, RFI’s change order review and negotiation, site logistics, coordination, quality control, monitoring safety, project close-out.

Ft. Snelling is on the State’s register of historic places. CPMI worked with the State Historic Preservation Office during preconstruction and throughout construction. The Fort was open during construction with numerous visitors, school groups and events taking place. Access and laydown areas were restricted and required careful planning and execution.
